- —In general, good adhesion on several substrates without primer (Bostik wording; confirm for your substrates)

Preparation and substrate notes
- —Bostik: adheres well without primer on glass, and no UV-resistant primer is needed when the glass/adhesive interface is UV-protected by a ceramic coating.
- —Where the glass has no ceramic UV protection at the bond line, do not assume primerless use — the preparation system is confirmed with Iris.
- —Frame preparation depends on the frame material and is confirmed for the specific installation.
When to consider it
- —Bonding glass windows where the bond line is protected by a ceramic coating
- —Field installation and refit glazing
- —Marine window sealing where the glazing material, joint design, exposure and preparation are appropriate
When to ask Iris
- —Acrylic (Plexiglass) or polycarbonate glazing
- —Glass without ceramic UV protection at the bond line
- —Unusual frame materials or more positioning time than the adhesive allows
- —Exterior perimeter joints where the joint design or exposure is uncertain
